Tiny seeds, quiet breakfasts

The best breakfasts in this house are the ones assembled the night before, by a version of me with more patience than the morning one. Four little jars in the fridge door: milk, a spoonful of seeds, honey, whatever fruit survived the afternoon. By morning they have become pudding, and the morning me accepts the gift without asking questions.
